JOHN BECK, Oct 31, 2011, 7:47PM EDTI thought Robin Williams' performance in Fisher King was superb, but that's a deep movie and far more meaningful if you know enough literature for the symbolism to be most meaningful.

Diana Raabe, Oct 24, 2011, 6:38PM EDTHi! I missed the whole Putin thing, but caught up with your comments made earlier this month. Honestly, I've been predicting an OWS-type protest for some time and while I don't wish the ills of a winter protest on anyone, I hope that the right message stays out on the plaza and in the crowd until corporations stop trying to run the U.S.
Do you really think Romney will beat Obama? I think it's going to be a close race - and that Romney will be the GOP nominee (although the teavangelicals will have to hold their noses very tightly when they vote) - but I wouldn't count Obama out by any means. He's still the smartest guy in the room and for me, that means a lot. -
Wil B., Oct 20, 2011, 6:00PM EDTBecause of the open, leaderless, amorphous sort of movement, it's easy for more belligerent people to get involved with it, but at the same time, given the consensus-driven approach of the General Assemblies, I think it'll be hard for those people to get enough support to change the nature of the entire movement. From what I've seen and heard from people involved, I'm pretty sure they realize that, whatever they're trying to do, they're not going to do it if they become a rioting mob.
